Khattar flags off anti-drug run in Gurugram

The event was flagged off by the Union Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal. Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh and Minister of State for Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Gaurav Gautam were also present at the event.
Khattar urged the youth to take the lead in building a drug-free society. He said that addiction destroyed an individual’s potential and weakened society. If the youth stayed away from drugs and focused on education, sports and skill development, not only will their own future be secure but the entire society will progress, he stressed, adding nearly 65 per cent of India’s population consisted of the youth, which was the nation’s biggest strength and that every district and state of the country could achieve new heights of development because of this.
