The newly-elected team of the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) paid an official visit to the Chief Minister’s Jan Seva Sadan today, marking the beginning of their tenure. President Aryan Maan, along with General Secretary Kunal Chaudhary, Joint Secretary Deepika Jha, and other members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), were warmly received during the visit.

The CM, in a tweet, congratulated the team, calling their victory “a living symbol of the tradition and struggle which the Students’ Council had established decades ago with the mantra of ‘knowledge, character and unity.’” She added that the moment held personal significance for her, reflecting on her own journey through DUSU and the spirit of public service.

During the meeting with the Chief Minister, the DUSU team discussed their year-long roadmap for student welfare. They assured the CM that they would address every concern raised by students, work on practical solutions to campus issues, and actively listen to student demands to ensure responsive and accountable leadership.

President Aryan Maan, said, “Our agenda this year is to strengthen student welfare, improve campus facilities, and ensure that every student’s voice is heard. We are also committed to pursuing the long-pending demand for subsidised Metro passes for students, which will ease daily travel.” The DUSU office was officially inaugurated on the same day, marking a fresh chapter for student leadership at the DU. Gupta urged the team to work towards the vision of a Viksit Delhi.
