In celebration of India’s 79th Independence Day, locations across the Capital will witness a series of live band performances by respective bands of the Armed Forces, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Railway Protection Force (RPF) bands and the NCC.

The performances will be at 5 pm. The following is the schedule of various bands: India Gate- Army; Central Park, Connaught Place- Navy; Kartavya Path- Air Force; Buddha Park, Noida- Indian Coast Guard; Qutub Minar- NCC; Vijay Chowk- Central Reserve Police Force; Purana Quila- Indo Tibetan Border Police; Red Fort- Central Industrial Security Force; Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector 8, RK Puram- Sashastra Seema Bal; National Police Memorial- Border Security Force; and Nizamuddin Railway Station and New Delhi Railway Station- Railway Protection Force.
