The announcement was made by the ABVP’s Central Working Committee member and election officer Nidhi Tripathi.

Tripathi said both Bihari and Attri would assume their roles at the ABVP Delhi state conference on February 4 at Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Bihari, originally from Jajpur, Odisha, currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University. With a longstanding association with the ABVP since 2001, he previously held the position of state vice-president from 2018 to 2021, demonstrating commendable leadership within the organisation. Attri hails from Aligarh district in Uttar Pradesh. He is presently pursuing postgraduate studies in the Buddhist Studies department at DU.
