BJP goes all out to woo electorate

As the campaign for the Delhi Assembly elections enters its final phase, the BJP went all out on the last weekend before polling, organising around 80 rallies across the Capital on Sunday. Party leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, and prominent BJP allies, took part in a major push to rally support.

Leading the charge were Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Arjun Ram Meghwal, and Chief Ministers Hemant Biswa Sharma, Pushkar Singh Dhami and Bhajan Lal Sharma. Chirag Paswan, Union Minister and leader of the Lok Janshakti Party, an NDA ally, also joined the campaign blitz.

At a public meeting in Laxmi Nagar, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed confidence in the BJP’s prospects, saying, “I have observed that Abhay Verma has the ability to effectively present his views. This time, the BJP is set to form the government in Delhi.”

In Bawana, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami slammed the AAP for the lack of development in the region. He said: “People gave a chance to AAP in the previous elections, but they did nothing for the development of Bawana. Now, you have the opportunity to correct that mistake. I urge you to form a double-engine government in Delhi.”

Actor-turned-politician Ravi Kishan also held a roadshow in Sangam Vihar in support of BJP candidate Chandan Kumar, while Union Minister Chirag Paswan addressed a public gathering in Mangolpuri, rallying support for BJP’s Rajkumar Chauhan.

Paswan highlighted growing public discontent with the AAP government, predicting an NDA victory. “Enthusiasm in favor of the NDA and the growing resentment against the present AAP government make one thing clear that Delhi will see an NDA government under the BJP’s leadership on February 8.”
