The BJP on Thursday alleged that the attack on Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was linked to AAP, while the latter refuted the claims saying that the saffron party is using AI-generated photo to level political scores on the issue.

Posting a photo of the accused with AAP Gujarat MLA Gopal Italia, BJP leader Harish Khurana on X said, “What was suspected has happened. The photo with Arvind Kejriwal’s close associate Gopal Italia says a lot. It clearly seems that the attack on Rekha Gupta today is connected to the AAP. Arvind Kejriwal, please explain — ‘What is this relationship called?’”

Responding to this, the AAP in a statement said the party does not support any kind of violence. “Harish Khurana is defaming AAP by using AI-generated photo of the accused with Gopal Italia,” it added.

The AAP even released a video on Facebook in which another man is clearly visible, it said.
