Condemning derogatory remarks made by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Naresh Balyan directed towards women, BJP workers from Uttam Nagar staged a protest outside his office today.

Led by Delhi BJP General Secretary and West Delhi MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat, the protest lasted nearly two hours causing traffic snarls in the area.

The protest was joined by several prominent BJP leaders, including former MLA Pawan Sharma, Najafgarh district BJP president Ramesh Shokhanda, District general secretaries Raj Sharma and Sandeep Sehrawat, District Women’s Front president Premlata Gaur and former councillor Kishan Gehlot.

Sehrawat criticised Balyan’s response to public demands, particularly his recent comments about road repairs. “When the public asked for better roads, he arrogantly replied that he would fix them by the ‘35th date’ and make them as smooth as Hema Malini’s cheeks,” Sehrawat said.
