DCP, East district, Apoorva Gupta said, “A scuffle took place when a group of boys from Block 31 and nearby blocks, returning from Ganesh Visarjan in Block 36, encountered another group from Block 32 with whom they had a previous enmity.”

“A verbal argument escalated into a fist fight, but no injuries were reported by either party,” she added.

The DCP ruled out communal angle. “Peace and tranquillity is prevailing in the area,” she added. The police said the CCTV footage from the area had been reviewed and the youths involved have been identified and arrested.
