Gupta said timely resolution of public issues remained the government’s priority. “Public dialogue is the soul of good governance. Listening to people and providing them with solutions is the true hallmark of a democracy,” she said.

She added that the Jan Sunwai initiative reflected the Delhi Government’s commitment to bridging the gap between citizens and the administration. The CM emphasised the importance of such regular public hearings in making governance more responsive, transparent and participatory.

Through this initiative, the government aims to directly engage with citizens and work towards finding sustainable solutions to their problems.
