Addressing a presser, he said, "Congress’s top leadership gave a free hand to target every senior AAP leader, poured in Rs 46 crore, including Rs 44 crore in cash, without any ground campaign, and colluded with the BJP in demolishing jhuggis and destroying livelihoods."

Referring to a interview of Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav, the AAP leader said Yadav himself explained how the party functionaries decided to not let AAP win, even if it meant the BJP was winning.

"It is a very big revelation that Delhi Congress was prepared to ensure BJP’s victory,” he added.

In Delhi, Congress betrayed its own voters and handed over power to the BJP and consequently the residents are suffering all the hardship imaginable, the former minister said.

Echoing similar sentiments, Manish Sisodia wrote on X, “Whatever Congress did during the Delhi Assembly elections to make BJP win was clearly visible behind the scenes, but now Yadav himself has come on camera and admitted to the plan to let BJP win. The sooner we understand that Congress is sitting in the lap of BJP, the better it will be for this country. Otherwise, as always, these people will form an alliance behind the scenes and keep hatching such conspiracies against those working for the people.”

Delhi Congress media chairman Anil Bhardwaj condemned the allegations and said, "Saurabh Bhardwaj has made baseless allegations by selectively editing an interview of Yadav."

Bhardwaj added every citizen knew that Congress had an ideological fight with the BJP, and it's unimaginable for the Congress to help the saffron party.

"Such allegations reflect the narrow-mindedness of the AAP .Congress fought the Assembly polls strongly, highlighting the failures of the AAP government and the BJP's Municipal Corporation. Due to Congress's efforts, they were shown the door," he added.
