Congress leaders inaugurate camps for Kanwariyas
New Delhi, July 25
Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Devender Yadav inaugurated the Sadbhavana Kavad Shivir camps at Jaffrabad (Seelampur) and Shastri Park on Thursday, inspecting the facilities set up for the Kanwariyas journeying to Haridwar to collect Ganga water for Shivratri.
He praised the camp at Jaffrabad organised by District Congress Committee president Zubair Ahmed and his father, former MLA Matin Ahmed. He urged the pilgrims to observe traffic rules and maintain discipline during their pilgrimage. “I urge all pilgrims to undertake the journey peacefully, adhering to traffic rules and ensuring discipline on road,” he said.
