The Congress on Thursday released its fifth and final list of candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.

According to a post on X, the party has named Lokendra Chaudhary as its candidate from the Timarpur constituency, while Suresh Wati Chauhan will contest from the Rohtas Nagar seat.

This announcement follows the release of the party’s fourth list late on Wednesday night, which included candidates for five constituencies. In the fourth list, Sumesh Gupta was selected to represent Rohini and Virender Bidhuri was fielded from Tughlakabad. Rahul Dhanak and Surender Kumar were chosen for the reserved Scheduled Caste (SC) seats of Karol Bagh and Bawana, respectively. Arjun Bhadana will compete for the Badarpur seat.

With this, the Congress has now finalised its 70 candidates for the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
