Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav has condemned recent actions by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) following the tragic deaths of four Civil Services aspirants due to flooding and electrocution at Old Rajinder Nagar.

Yadav criticised the MCD’s response, which included the termination of a junior engineer’s services, suspension of an assistant engineer and a show-cause notice to the executive engineer of the Karol Bagh zone, as mere attempts to deflect responsibility.

“These actions are nothing more than passing the blame onto junior officials,” Yadav remarked.
