The entirely elevated corridor will have eight stations, Lajpat Nagar, Andrews Ganj, GK-I, Chirag Delhi, Pushpa Bhawan, Saket District Centre, Pushp Vihar and Saket G-Block.

The project is expected to significantly enhance mobility across South Delhi. “This Golden Line corridor is a vital link in South Delhi, designed to enhance connectivity and provide seamless integration with the existing metro lines. The first test pile symbolises the beginning of major civil works, laying the foundation for this new metro corridor. This corridor will not only ease travel for lakhs of commuters but also strengthen the city’s sustainable transport infrastructure,” said an official.

The stretch will offer multiple interchanges, connecting with the Magenta Line at Chirag Delhi and both the Violet and Pink Lines at Lajpat Nagar, transforming Lajpat Nagar into a triple interchange hub.
