On Tuesday, ASI Bhupendra and Constable Rupesh went to the village to arrest Maqsood. However, as they exited the street with the suspect, they were ambushed by a group of women and other individuals. During the chaos, stones were thrown at the officers, who narrowly escaped with their lives and were subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.

A senior police officer confirmed that the Surajkund police station has registered a case against Shahnaz, Hajira, Zahida, and two other unidentified individuals. The assailants who attacked the policemen are currently at large.
