The event featured renowned authors, motivational speakers, trainers, psychologists and prominent figures from the fields of fashion and design, who guided students on transforming imagination into reality.
Organised by the Department of Students’ Welfare, TEDx SVSU began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dinesh Kumar congratulated the organisers and participants, noting TEDx provides an excellent platform for generating and implementing new ideas, inspiring students to innovate.
The chief guest, Gurmeet Lekhari, founder of Brahma Tank and the Lekhari Foundation, said TEDx offers students unique ideas and motivation to implement them. He urged students to think differently and work with passion. The registrar, Jyoti Rana, urged students to dream with open eyes and work wholeheartedly to realise their goals, advocating the principles of possibility, performance and passion.
Security Analyst Col (retd.) Utkarsh Singh Rathore, called upon students to actively contribute to the nation’s holistic development. Prof Usha Batra also shared her valuable experiences with attendees.
Welcoming the guests, Prof Ashish Srivastava, dean of the skill faculty of engineering and technology, said TEDx brings together intellectual experts, benefiting students immensely. Dean academics Prof Vikram Singh added TEDx SVSU would support students in enhancing their skills and strengthening their technical competence.
Distinguished speakers at TEDx SVSU included Mrs India International Queen 2025 Kanupuriya Mohan; life designer Dr Seema Middha; founder of Aastha Self Defence Academy Aastha Agarwal; founder of Youth Digital Wellness Amreen Kaur Bhati; Manoj Kumar P.; managing director of Manoratha Builders Umrao Singh; psychologist Nitya Ruhil; orthopaedic specialist Dr Hemant Sharma; Larnya Agarwal; Ovia Singh; parenting coach Sandeep Kumar; and Somanshu Gaur, who delivered expert talks to inspire and guide students.
