This year’s Constitution Day will feature a major centenary tribute: the unveiling of a specially curated coffee table book by Vice President CP Radhakrishnan. The event will mark 100 years since Vithalbhai Patel became the first Indian-elected Speaker of the Central Legislative Assembly on August 24, 1925. The VP will attend the celebration as the chief guest, while Lt Governor of Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena and Delhi CM Rekha Gupta will participate as guests of honour.
