Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva strongly criticised AAP leader Atishi Marlena for her recent claims of development in the Kirari constituency. He labelled her statements as “false and shameful”, accusing the AAP government of neglecting the area over the past decade.

Sachdeva highlighted that Kirari, one of Delhi’s largest constituencies, suffered from prolonged waterlogging for most of the year and lacked essential infrastructure such as schools, colleges and hospitals.

He also pointed out that the AAP’s repeated victories in Kirari were more about vote-bank politics

rather than actual development.

Furthermore, he questioned Atishi Marlena’s logic, asking why the AAP had removed 10-year MLA Rituraj Govind if he had brought any meaningful development to the constituency.
