Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva and New Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj accused the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government of creating fake voter registrations for Rohingyas and Bangladeshis over the past decade. The BJP leaders presented two videos during the press briefing, claiming they showed evidence of fraudulent registration voting in several constituencies. One video revealed voter entries from Moti Nagar where addresses listed in the voter rolls corresponded to vacant plots with no houses. The video also highlighted an electricity meter installed on a roadside wall with 24 votes registered at that location. Similarly, a second video from Trilokpuri Assembly constituency showed 38 votes listed at a single-room flat that neighbours confirmed had been locked for years.

“These instances are not isolated. In Shahdara, Rajouri Garden, and Mustafabad, we’ve seen 20 to 50 votes registered at one-room houses. In 99% of these cases, the registered voters belong to a particular community,” Sachdeva alleged, calling for a thorough investigation into the matter.

“Kejriwal is scared because the fake votes created for the Rohingyas and Bangladeshis are being exposed. These voter bases are funded by foreign donations, such as from the Ford Foundation, and are being bought by AAP.”

The BJP president said that under Rule 172 (BNS) of the Election Code, anyone caught casting fake votes could face up to one year of rigorous imprisonment.
