The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has begun shifting its headquarters from 14, Pant Marg, its base since 1991, to a newly constructed office on Deendayal Upadhyay Marg.

The party announced that formal operations would begin at the new premises on October 25, the day of ‘Nahay Khay’, which marks the beginning of the Chhath festival. From that day, the new address will serve as the permanent headquarters of the Delhi BJP.

State BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, along with all office-bearers and staff, will begin functioning from the new office on the auspicious occasion.

As part of the relocation process, state general secretary (Organisation) Pawan Rana took charge of his new office on the fourth floor on Wednesday and met party workers. General secretary Vishnu Mittal and treasurer Satish Garg have also settled into their offices on the second floor.

On the ground floor, office secretary Brijesh Rai and media head Praveen Shankar Kapoor interacted with visitors and party workers at their respective offices.
