Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday lauded the spirit of young entrepreneurship while attending the ‘Youngpreneur Summit-2025’ as the chief guest. The event, organised by the Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs of India (COWE), provided a vibrant platform for school students who have successfully launched innovative startups, aiming to inspire many more to follow suit.

Addressing a packed gathering, CM Gupta felicitated several student achievers whose ideas and ventures have made remarkable strides at a young age. Applauding their dedication and vision, the CM said, “Today’s generation is not just smart but truly visionary. They know exactly what they want and how to get there. Their innovations are laying the foundation for a new India driven by ideas and courage.”

Hailing the summit’s theme — “Made in Mind, Built in Bharat” — as a fitting tribute to India’s home-grown innovation ecosystem, Gupta said India’s youth were transforming the nation’s global image from a developing economy to a hub of technology and enterprise.

“These young entrepreneurs are achieving feats that make the entire country proud,” she added.

She emphasised that India’s true progress lied in every young citizen moving ahead with the thought — “My nation comes first”. Gupta described her interaction with the budding entrepreneurs as a deeply memorable experience and said the energy and affection she received from the students would always remain close to her heart.
