Delhi cuts VAT, diesel cheaper by Rs8.36/l

New Delhi: Diesel price in the national capital was on Thursday cut by Rs 8.36 per litre after the state government rolled back VAT or sales tax from 30 per cent to 16.75 per cent. Diesel will now cost Rs 73.64 per litre. — PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
