Delhi HC refuses early hearing for Sharjeel Imam’s bail plea

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday declined student activist Sharjeel Imam’s request for an early hearing of his bail application related to the larger conspiracy case in the Delhi riots.

A division Bench of Justices Suresh Kumar Kait and Girish Kathpalia reaffirmed that the case would proceed on October 7, as previously scheduled.
