Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with St Petersburg State University of Economics, Russia, to enhance academic cooperation and research collaboration.

The MoU was signed online by IP University’s Registrar, Kamal Pathak, and rector of the Russian university, Igor A Maximtsev. Vijita Singh Aggarwal, director of International Affairs, and AK Saini, director of Development at IP University, were also present.

The agreement aims to promote international collaboration by facilitating joint research, co-publications, faculty and student exchanges, academic resource sharing and participation in conferences and seminars.

IP University Vice-Chancellor Mahesh Verma said the university was also exploring dual-degree programs with the Russian institution, further strengthening global academic ties.
