Union Minister Jitendra Singh today said the Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express would re-commence from October 15, a development that would come as a relief ahead of the Navratras, especially for pilgrims wanting to visit the Vaishno Devi shrine.

Singh said the decision was confirmed to him by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal during a discussion two days ago.

“As follow-up to discussion with Railway Minister Piyush Goyal two days back, the Ministry of Railways has announced resumption of Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi to Katra from October 15. A huge relief and exciting information for pilgrims on the eve of Navratras,” Singh posted on Twitter.
