On the occasion, Commissioner of Police Satish Golchha lauded the NDRF’s expertise and commitment to enhancing Delhi Police’s disaster response capabilities.

He emphasised the importance of the collaboration in ensuring public safety. Since 2022, around 17,000 police personnel have undergone training, improving their ability to handle emergencies and coordinate effectively with the NDRF.

The collaboration is crucial as Delhi Police are the first responders in accidents such as fires and building collapses.
