A delivery worker was brutally attacked by a group of men armed with an axe and sticks, leaving him seriously injured and hospitalised. CCTV footage captured the accused fleeing the scene and an FIR has been registered at the Sector 10A police station.

According to a complaint filed by Ritesh, he and his brother Abhishek work as delivery boys for Big Basket. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon while Abhishek was en route to deliver goods to a customer. A car stopped near Shakti Park and seven or eight young men, all carrying axes, sticks and rods, got out.

“The accused attacked my brother Abhishek with axes and sticks, leaving deep wounds and wounds on his head, back, arms and legs. He is on a ventilator in the ICU of a private hospital, where his condition remains critical,” Ritesh said in the complaint.

An FIR was registered under the BNS at the Sector 10A police station against eight accused, including Rohit Raghav and Rohit Jindal.
