An e-FIR was registered at the Bindapur police station after multiple complaints were received regarding fraudulent product replacements. “Acting swiftly on the complaints, our team traced the accused to the Rajapuri area in Uttam Nagar and apprehended him,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh.

During the arrest, the police recovered 38 fraudulently exchanged packages from Kishan’s possession. These included 22 clothing items, three wristwatches, two pairs of slippers, one pair of shoes and various other goods. Additionally, a tablet and a mobile phone linked to earlier FIRs registered at Bindapur and Uttam Nagar police stations were also seized.

Kishan has been booked and further investigation is underway to determine the scale of the fraud and possible involvement of others.
