DMRC extends metro timings for Diwali rush

The move is intended to handle the anticipated surge in passenger movement across the city as people venture out for last-minute shopping and festive preparations.
On October 20, Diwali day, the last train services will depart at 10 pm from terminal stations on all lines, including the Airport Express Line. However, services during the day will operate as per the usual schedule, minimising inconvenience for commuters.
With these temporary changes, the DMRC aims to ensure that Delhi’s residents and visitors alike enjoy a smooth, safe, and festive travel experience this Diwali.
