Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Devender Yadav on Thursday expressed grief over the tragic crash of an Air India aircraft in Ahmedabad, which claimed the lives of passengers and crew on board, as well as several MBBS students residing in a nearby hostel.

After receiving the news about the accident, Yadav cancelled a press conference at the DPCC office. The Delhi Congress prays for the eternal peace of the departed souls and speedy recovery of the injured. We stand in solidarity with the bereaved families in this hour of immense grief,” he said.

Senior DPCC spokesperson and AICC member Naresh Kumar termed the incident a “national tragedy,” calling it one of the most painful moments for the entire country. Kumar demanded a time-bound and impartial investigation into the incident.
