Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Harmeet Singh Kalka on Sunday strongly criticised former DSGMC president Paramjit Singh Sarna for allegedly trespassing on DSGMC-managed premises and making “unrealistic” claims of bringing school and college properties under the control of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Amritsar.

At a press conference held at DSGMC headquarters, Kalka condemned Sarna’s recent visit to the DSGMC-run school and under-construction college at Bighar in Fatehabad, Haryana and accused him and SGPC-affiliated individuals of forcibly entering the premises and spreading false claims about the school’s closure.

“He (Sarna) acted like an outlaw and hooligan, which is unwarranted,” Kalka said adding that legal and police action would be pursued against those involved.

Kalka further said that they will also explore terminating the DSGMC membership of those who violated the law.

“How can he claim SGPC will take over DSGMC institutions? It’s unrealistic and unbecoming of a former president,” Kalka added.
