The Delhi University has extended a one-time attendance relief to students of the first batch enrolled under the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) 2022.

In an official notification issued by the Registrar, the university announced the special relaxation of 10% attendance for semester VII students, who are set to appear in examinations for 2025–26. Under the current rules, students are required to maintain at least 66.6% attendance to be eligible for semester examinations. However, many students reportedly fell short of this requirement due to academic and structural adjustments linked to the new curriculum model. The university approved this relaxation to address these concerns and avoid any disruptions to academic progression.

The move has been welcomed by many as a practical intervention, considering what they said were transitional challenges faced during implementation of the new framework.
