Delhi University (DU) is set to open mid-entry admissions in the first week of August, offering a second chance to students who missed earlier admission phases due to various reasons such as subject mapping errors, payment failures, failure to submit preferences, or application rejections.

Students who wish to avail the opportunity will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 1,000 for filling the mid-entry form. This option will be available after the release of the second common seat allocation system (CSAS) list, and only vacant seats in colleges will be open for application.

“This provision is being made to ensure that students who missed the initial registration or had errors in their application process are not completely left out. Candidates who either failed to apply to CSAS phase-1 or could not complete it will be able to participate in the third round of CSAS,” Dean (Admissions) Haneet Gandhi told The Tribune.
