The university has said that the fair is aimed at connecting young talent with recruiters from a wide range of industries. It will also serve as a platform for students to gain insights into career planning and the skills required by employers.

Registration for the job fair is free, but participation has been capped at 5,000 entries. Interested candidates can apply until October 5 or till the slots get filled. Students from undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes, along with the alumni, are eligible to register.

Those who receive a confirmation mail will need to report at the venue by 9 am on the day of the event. Participants have been asked to bring copies of their CVs, academic documents and valid identification proof for the selection process.

Officials said the fair would see the participation of multiple recruiters offering roles in different domains. Apart from job opportunities, internship positions will also be available, making the event relevant for both final-year students and those still pursuing their studies.

The organisers added that the initiative was part of the DU’s efforts to build stronger links between academia and industry and to support students in making a smooth transition into professional life.
