Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) ex-president Ronak Khatri on Monday received an extortion threat from a person pretending to be gangster Rohit Godara.
A purported photo of the chat has gone viral on social media, where the person can be seen demanding Rs 5 crore from Khatri.

“Ronak, Rohit Godara speaking. You’ve had enough of politics; give me Rs 5 crore or face the consequences,” the message read.

Meanwhile, police said an investigation into the matter has been launched to verify the number and trace its origin.
Khatri, a member of the Congress-backed National Students' Union of India (NSUI), won the President post in the DUSU 2024 elections.
