Engineer dies by suicide

The deceased had got married just six months ago. No suicide note was found from the spot.
According to the police, the deceased is identified as Subham Meena (28), a native of Alwar, Rajasthan. He was working at an MNC as a software engineer on a salary package of Rs 20 lakh per annum. He had a love marriage with a woman from Delhi in May and was living with her at their house near Mata Colony near Nayagaon in the Bhondsi area. His wife is pursuing higher education and Meena was working mostly from home due to his company’s work-from-home arrangement.
On Tuesday afternoon, Shubham was at home with his wife. She said he left the room to go somewhere. As he didn’t return, she went outside to look for him. She went upstairs and was shocked to see him hanging from the window.
After getting the information, a police team reached the spot and took the body in custody. They did not find any suicide note. The neighbors said that Shubham was undergoing treatment for depression.
Police investigations revealed that Shubham had been suffering from mental distress for some time. He was undergoing treatment with a doctor and taking medication. It is also being said that he had previously attempted suicide but survived.
