On this, the constable on rider duty filed a complaint and a FIR was registered. After this, nine of them were arrested.
When the arrested eunuchs were taken to hospital for medical check-up, other eunuchs who had come there to free them, attacked the police. Two police personnel were also injured in the attack. The police personnel had to allegedly run to save their lives. There was chaos in the hospital premises as well after which additional police was called and the situation was brought under control.
According to the police, the arrested accused were identified as Raju Sheikh, Sazid Ali, Pankaj Rai, Shubha, Rajnama, Sgar Sarkar, Nisha Beb, Sonali Khatun and Mukhtar Qureshi.
