New Delhi: A fire erupted in a garment market in north-east Delhi’s Seelampur area on Tuesday afternoon, officials said. The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received a call about the fire at 1.13 pm and seven fire tenders were dispatched to the mishap site, according to a Delhi Fire Service official, who added there were no reports of injuries so far. The blaze affected two shops in the market. PTI

2 women stabbed in West Delhi

New Delhi: Two women were critically injured after they were allegedly stabbed by an acquaintance in West Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area on Tuesday, the police said. The women, identified as Beena and Tanya, were attacked around 2.30 pm. Local residents immediately informed the police. They have been admitted to a hospital, officials said.
