New Delhi, December 24

A massive fire broke out at a building in New Delhi’s Vikaspuri on Saturday morning.

“Information about the fire was received at around 5.50am. Immediately, 18 fire tenders were pressed into service,” the fire department said.

No casualties have been reported. The reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
