New Delhi: A fire broke out in a footwear factory in Nangloi on Sunday afternoon. Twentyfour fire tenders were dispatched to combat the flames. So far, no injuries have been reported. TNS

Welcome firing case: 5 nabbed

New Delhi: The police have arrested five men suspected to be involved in a gun battle in the Welcome area. The accused were identified as Samad (28), Shanu (30), Kasim (23), Hasim (22) and Mohammad Noor (22). PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
