The police have booked DN Taneja, chairman of the company, under Section 306 of the IPC. Kumar’s wife in her complaint said her husband was on leave for 10 days, but was asked to report on duty on Monday. “Taneja abused my husband and mounted pressure on him to sign some documents, which he refused to do,” she said. Subsequently, he consumed poison, said the police. — TNS
