New Delhi: The Department of Economics at Hindu College launched L’ECONOMISTE 2024 on Friday. The event aims to serve as a vibrant platform for students and scholars to exchange ideas and perspectives, nurturing innovation and discourse in economics in the University of Delhi. Vinod Rai, 11th Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India, delivered a lecture on ‘Social Audit and Citizen Participation in Development Processes’. Attendees engaged in interactive sessions on contemporary economic issues.

Janki Devi College to host quiz

The Quiz Society of Janki Devi Memorial College’s Economics Department, in association with ECOPHORIA’24, is set to host an inter-college quiz on March 5. Participants can register for the competition as individuals or in teams of two till March 3. Winners will receive prizes of up to Rs 6,000.

Retro Arcade Event on Feb 28

The Fine Arts Society of SGTB Khalsa College is gearing up to host a Retro Arcade-themed event on February 28. The event will feature an array of activities, including an art gallery, painting contests, caricature art, face painting, photo booths, thrilling games and stalls offering crafts and goodies. The event will be held from 10 am to 4 pm at the Basketball Court in Delhi University’s North Campus.
