Four nabbed for drug peddling in Gurugram

The Gurugram police arrested four drug peddlers from different areas of the city and seized a substantial amount of illegal substances, including 4,167 gm of marijuana, 81 gm of charas, and 8.34 gm of smack (heroin).

According to the police, the Sikanderpur Crime Unit apprehended a drug peddler named Mukesh Kumar, a resident of Delhi, from MG Road. The police recovered 2,064 gm of marijuana from his possession.

The same team also arrested another peddler, Sonu, a resident of Sataran village in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, from whom 8.34 gm of smack was seized.

In a separate operation, the Nathupur Police Chowki team arrested two more drug peddlers from DLF Phase 3.

They recovered 2,103 gm of marijuana and 81 gm of charas from the accused, identified as Sandeep, a resident of Kitlan village in Bhiwani, and Prince Kumar alias Piyush, a resident of Ramnagar village in Bhagalpur, Bihar.

“The arrested accused revealed that they had come to Gurugram to supply drugs after buying them from Inderpuri and Najafgarh in Delhi. We are questioning the accused,” said a spokesperson of the Gurugram police.
