The University of Delhi (DU) has once again begun its undergraduate (UG) admission process. The admission cycle, now streamlined through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), follows a well-defined process — from registration to final seat confirmation.

The first step in the process is CUET registration, where candidates must register and later appear for the examination. The CUET scores serve as the basis for further procedures. Once results are declared, candidates are required to register on DU’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.

During CSAS registration, students fill in their preferences for courses and colleges. DU then uses a combination of CUET scores, preferences and seat availability to allocate seats. Candidates offered a seat must accept the allocation and complete the fee payment to secure admission.

To manage this extensive admission exercise, the university has deployed around 3,000 faculty members across various colleges and departments. These faculty members are actively involved in ensuring that the admission process is smooth and transparent.

The admission branch of DU has also set up a robust three-platform support system to address student queries. Students can reach out via phone (8882643439), email (ug@admission.du.ac.in), or the university chatbot (available on the website), all of which are operational during the admission window.
