The Delhi Government will soon empanel five-star hotels across the city as official venues for hosting high-profile events, including state functions and programmes attended by the Chief Minister and cabinet ministers, officials said on Friday.

The General Administration Department (GAD), which is responsible for organising such events on behalf of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and other ministerial offices, has initiated the process of empanelling hotels in the National Capital Territory.

According to a senior officer, applications have been invited from five-star hotels, with the last date for submission set for October 16. Once empanelled, these hotels will serve as designated venues for state-level programmes, ensuring smooth organisation and adequate facilities for VIP functions.
