In order to tackle Delhi’s worsening air quality, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday announced revised office timings for all Delhi Government and Municipal Corporation offices, effective from November 15, 2025, to February 15, 2026. The move, aimed at reducing vehicular congestion during peak hours, is part of a broader strategy to curb air pollution during the winter season.

Under the new schedule, Delhi Government offices will function from 10 am to 6:30 pm, while Municipal Corporation offices will operate from 8:30 am to 5 pm. The staggered shifts are expected to ease rush-hour traffic, preventing the simultaneous build-up of vehicles on city roads which is one of the leading causes of pollution in the Capital.

Gupta directed officials to strictly enforce the new timings and monitor both traffic and air quality throughout the winter.
