Following incessant rain at night, Gurugram residents woke up to a cloudy sky and empty roads. A majority of residents chose to stay home as the city reels under waterlogging in many areas.

The nightmare is far from over for residents of a posh area along the Dwarka Expressway. Around 20 societies have been without power for over 12 hours now. While some builders have provided generator sets, in a majority of the societies, even the power back-up has exhausted.

The disruption in power supply is due to a technical snag at the grid station in Sector 107. Residents claim that the grid witnessed frequent snags.

The societies affected include ROF, Sector 102; M3M Woodshire, Sector 107; ATS Tourmaline, Sector 109; ⁠Brisk Lumbini, Sector 109; ⁠BPTP Amstoria, Sector 102; M3M Woodshire, Grand Iva, Sector 103; Experion, Sector 108, Godrej Meridien, Sector 106; Adani Oyster Grande, Sector 102; Puri Emerald Bay, Sector 104; Chintels Serenity, Sector 109; Signature Global Solera, Sector 107; ⁠Emaar Gurgaon Greens, Sector 102; Satya Hermitage, Sector 103; Gurugram green, ATS Triumph Windchants, Sector 112; Paras Dews.
