Haryana’s Health and Home Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday claimed that the state was “being forced” to give oxygen to Delhi.

Vij said the state would meet its needs, before providing oxygen—required to treat COVID-19 patients—to other areas.

“Yesterday, one of our O2 tankers was looted by Delhi Govt that was going to Faridabad. From now, I’ve ordered police protection for all tankers,” he said.

Vij also addressed the Remdesivir shortage in the state saying that there were two depots selling the anti-viral drug.

“I have deployed drug dept officials there. Movement of every vial will be recorded. Chemists have been informed to check Aadhar card before giving Remdesivir injections. We have already arrested 4 people,” he said.
