A day after the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party suffered a major defeat in Delhi, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday celebrated the BJP’s historic surge by personally serving jalebis at Haryana Bhavan here.

Saini was at the centre of a controversy on the eve of the elections after former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal accused the BJP-led Haryana government of poisoning the Yamuna waters.

Terming AAP’s loss as a major rebuttal of Kejriwal’s “politics of accusations,” Saini said, “Time to have jalebis".
