IAF Chief flags off car rally

The Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh today flagged off a car rally at the Air force station here. The rally will culminate on July 27 at the IAF base at Adampur, near Jalandhar. Enroute it shall stop at the IAF base at Ambala.
The rally has 112 participants from the three services, Indian Coast Guard, DRDO and NCC. It will cover around 800 km in 40 sponsored Tata vehicles constituting mainly Electric Vehicles (EVs), the IAF said in a statement.

The event aims to commemorate the success of "Operation Sindoor" and honour the valour of our armed forces. The rally will visit colleges and universities enroute to interact and inspire youth, and motivate them to consider a career in the Armed Forces.
The industry chamber, PHDCCI, is jointly conducting the rally with IAF.
